LiP/ICC-B Law Students / "Grads-at-the-Bar"

 

OVERVIEW

ICC-B is a two-day program an interactive lecture format with audio-visual "real life interview" clips opportunities for individualized attention and counseling during scheduled breaks and after the formal program.

DAY 1: Two major segments in-depth insight into the various settings and substantive contexts in which law is most often practiced and/or a law degree is applicable or required.

The first morning the various settings of law practice and/or law degree application overview of the many and diverse organizational settings which are available to law school graduates covering the gamut, from solo and other private practice to government service to classroom to corporate boardroom particular emphasis on the personal and professional lifestyles which are unique to the various law practice ambits and collateral careers.

An approximate one-hour on / near-site group lunch break an opportunity for informal questions and discussions about the morning material among the participants and the presenters.

The first afternoon "Break-Out" sessions, providing more in-depth exploration of traditional and non-traditional substantive areas of law practice and related career fields focus on the unique personal and professional attributes and requirements of each - from both substantive and employment context perspectives participants may select areas of interest from among 10 substantive / collateral fields, presented in 45-minute focus groups individual guidance session arrangements may be made.
